Taylor Swift is known as one of the rarest artists who has mastered the art of musical reinvention. From receiving several Grammy Awards to American Music Award, she’s already achieved a total of 315 awards and 738 nominations in her career. Another feather in her cap has come in the form of a diamond certification from RIAA for her song, “Shake It Off“.
Swift released “Shake It Off” as the lead single off her 2014 album, 1989. The song rocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, consummating the singer’s shift from country darling to global pop superstar, which she had begun on her previous album, Red.
Swift’s latest victory lap doesn’t stop with “Shake It Off.” The RIAA awarded several of her songs and albums yesterday, notably a 2x platinum certification for her most recent album, Lover, and a 4x platinum certification for 1989 single “Wildest Dreams.”
With around 98 successful hits, her success itself speaks of her hard work. And now a diamond certification from RIAA adds value to her astonishing career graph.
