Maria Jose de Pablo or Cote de Pablo is a Chilean-American actress and singer. Cote is mainly known for her role in the series NCIS. Cote is born in Santiago, Chile in the year 1979, November 12. Later her family was moved to Miami and she started her schooling there.
She came into the field of entertainment very early. At the age of 15, she worked in a Latin-American talk show sometimes. Later she went to a university to study theatre. There Cote appeared in many plays that would later help her shaping her acting skills.
She shifted to New York and joined the New York City Public Theatre. While being there Cote got her first break on the big screen. A series named The Jury cast her in a role; however, it didn’t last long as the series wrapped up only after 10 episodes. Another show “The Mambo Kings” went south and she lost a chance again.
Cote was then called for the audition of the series NCIS and she cracked the part there. She played the role of an Israeli intelligence officer and continued for the next 10 seasons. Cote’s role was then suddenly vanished but later made a comeback in the 16th season.
Cote is also a singer, she sang the Tom Walt Song “Temptation” in one episode of the NCIS. She has also performed songs like “Cry me a River”, “Samba in Prelude” and various soundtracks.
